    • Eligible to stand for election to the Board of Directors.

    • Eligible to apply for Production Assistance grants.
    • Eligible to apply for equipment rental deferrals

  • Basic Membership

    50$
    Get involved and access most of the Filmpool equipment.
    Valid for one year
    • Voting rights.
    • Free Splice Magazine subscription.
    • The Dailies e-Newsletter.
    • Access to the Filmpool library.
    • Eligible to sit on volunteer committees.
    • Eligible to stand for election to the Board of Directors.
    • Reduced rates at exhibitions, workshops and seminars.
    • Eligible for some equipment rentals.

  • Student Membership

    35$
    For students in post-secondary education.
    Valid for one year
    • Voting rights.
    • Receive SPLICE Magazine and other relevant mailouts.
    • The Dailies e-Newsletter.
    • Have access to the Filmpool Library.
    • Eligible to sit on volunteer committees.
    • Eligible to stand for election to the Board of Directors.
    • Reduced rates at exhibitions, workshops etc.
    • Advanced access to all equipment at a reduced rate.
    • Eligible to apply for Emerging Artist grants.

  • Affiliate

    75$
    Available to non-profit arts and culture organizations in SK
    Valid for one year
    • Access to Filmpool equipment at the discretion of the staff.
    • Access to Filmpool equipment at Member Rates.
    • Eligibility determined by the Filmpool Executive Director.
    • Not eligible to vote at meetings.

As a cooperative, all new membership applications must be approved by our Board of Directors at one of their meetings, which happen every 6-8 weeks. Please keep this in mind when applying and looking at equipment rentals.

If finances have been a barrier this year in regards to membership at the Filmpool, please send an email to executivedirector@filmpool.ca & we can update your status under section 8.12 in our Policy Manual.
