Here’s a look at our upcoming 2016 Summer-Fall programming:
7pm Thursday, June 9th | The RPL Film Theatre Presented in Partnership with OneTakeSuper8 Shot on super 8, the films in these events have never been seen before, not even by the filmmakers! Edited in-camera, the works are shown as they were shot. No Cuts! No Splices!
Saturday, June 18th & 19th | The Sound Stage Presented in Partnership with Creative Saskatchewan A two-day lighting workshop with Regina cinematographer Layton Burton. Principles of effective lighting will be covered, including a focus on the practises and styles of German Expressionism.
Monday, July 11th – 15th | Filmpool This week long camp takes participants through the production process of creating a short film. Classes focus on visual storytelling and creativity. Students of all experience and skill levels welcome.

TBD (July) Training on the new gear acquired for rental including the DJI Ronin 3-axis gimbal, Kessler Cineslider, Zoom F8 Multitrack Field Recorder and Rotolight Neo 3 Kit.

Tuesday, September 20th | Filmpool Weekly filmmaking classes for students ages 13-17. Students collaborate on screen based art projects.
Thursday, October 20th | Mackenzie Art Gallery Screening of selected local and international German Expressionist short films. Presented as part of the Caligari Salon: An Evening of Angst, Art, Cinema and Sideshow.
Thursday, November 24th | Artesian The Third Annual SIFAs will showcase and celebrate the best independent films made this past year.
Friday, November 25th Saskatchewan premiere screening of Daniel Redenbach and Janine Windolph’s dramatic feature film shot in and around La Ronge, SK.

Thursday, December 8th | The Club at the Exchange Presented in partnership with the Saskatchewan Cultural Exchange An open mic format for film, art and culture.
