SIFA – Saskatchewan Independent Film Awards is excited to announce this years SIFA Nominees will be announced at a Press Conference at Bushwakker Brewing Company on Nov 2nd 11am. SIFA is adjudicated by a jury panel of three professional independent Saskatchewan filmmakers. Nominations will be announced in 6 categories: Best Film – Jury’s Choice, Best Student Film, Best Acting, Best Feature Film, and Best Technical Achievement, and all nominees will be eligible for Audience Choice.
The Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative is dedicated to the production and exhibition of independent, visionary, Saskatchewan-made film and video art. The Saskatchewan Independent Film Awards (SIFA) is an annual event to support, showcase and celebrate Saskatchewan’s dynamic filmmaking community.
